Mission Statement

Pub­lic Util­i­ty Dis­trict No. 1 of Klick­i­tat Coun­ty pro­vides safe, reli­able, cost-based util­i­ty ser­vices at the low­est pos­si­ble cost con­sis­tent with sound busi­ness prin­ci­ples.

Vision

Inves­ti­gate and imple­ment strate­gies to uti­lize our renew­able assets and oth­er resources to sup­port our efforts to pro­vide sta­ble, low-cost elec­tric and water-waste­water ser­vices to our rate pay­ers. 

Management

Our man­age­ment team will strive to be a uni­fied team of hands-on lead­ers with the capa­bil­i­ty to lead our util­i­ty and our staff to attain sus­tain­able suc­cess in our busi­ness. This will include devel­op­ing our staff, improv­ing our abil­i­ty to oper­ate our exist­ing busi­ness lines and expand them as pru­dent to sup­port our Mis­sion State­ment.

Teamwork

Our staff will work togeth­er and sup­port each oth­er in all areas of our busi­ness to improve our capa­bil­i­ty of sup­port­ing and serv­ing our cus­tomers, in order for KPUD to excel in deliv­er­ing safe, reli­able, and low-cost elec­tric and water-waste­water ser­vices.

Klickitat PUD Overview

Klick­i­tat PUD is gov­erned by a three-mem­ber Board of Com­mis­sion­ers, each rep­re­sent­ing a dif­fer­ent dis­trict of the coun­ty for a six-year term.
