About Us

Mission Statement

Public Utility District No. 1 of Klickitat County provides safe, reliable, cost-based utility services at the lowest possible cost consistent with sound business principles.

Vision

Investigate and implement strategies to utilize our renewable assets and other resources to support our efforts to provide stable, low-cost electric and water-wastewater services to our rate payers.

Management

Our management team will strive to be a unified team of hands-on leaders with the capability to lead our utility and our staff to attain sustainable success in our business. This will include developing our staff, improving our ability to operate our existing business lines and expand them as prudent to support our Mission Statement.

Teamwork

Our staff will work together and support each other in all areas of our business to improve our capability of supporting and serving our customers, in order for KPUD to excel in delivering safe, reliable, and low-cost electric and water-wastewater services.

Klickitat PUD Overview

Klickitat PUD is governed by a three-member Board of Commissioners, each representing a different district of the county for a six-year term.
