Klickitat PUD has developed its 2026–2029 Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP) as part of Washington State’s Clean Energy Transformation Act, which guides utilities toward 100% clean electricity by 2045. The plan outlines how the utility will continue delivering reliable, affordable power while advancing conservation, renewable resources, and community engagement.
During this planning period, KPUD aims to maintain a power supply that is approximately 90% renewable and non-emitting, while also pursuing energy efficiency programs and exploring demand response opportunities such as a residential smart thermostat pilot.
