Klickitat PUD is currently experiencing a pump issue at one of our Klickitat well sites. We are requesting that all Klickitat water customers begin conserving water immediately. This conservation effort is necessary until repairs can be completed.
UPDATE 01/13/26 — We sincerely appreciate our customers’ continued conservation efforts. Operators are continuing to monitor the system, and we will provide a notice as soon as the conservation request is lifted.
UPDATE: 12/19/25 — The pump has been replaced and required testing has been completed. We are awaiting the arrival of necessary parts. We estimate we should be able to bring the source back online by Tuesday, 12/23/25. We are requesting that Klickitat water customers continue to conserve water through early next week.
UPDATE: 12/04/25 2:00PM — The pump has been replaced and is currently undergoing testing. We are requesting that Klickitat water customers continue to conserve water through early next week.
